Power Starts here.

Exit velocity, arm strength, and explosive first steps are all products of how you train off the field. BTD's S&C program is built specifically for baseball and softball athletes, developing the sport-specific power, stability, and durability your game demands.

OUR PROCESS

HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1

Athletic Assessment

We evaluate your current strength, mobility, and movement patterns to identify the physical gaps between where you are and what your position demands at the next level.

STEP 2

Sport-Specific Program

Alonso builds a program around the exact physical demands of your sport and position. Every lift, every movement, every sprint connects directly back to on-field performance.

STEP 3

Train, Progress + Perform
Sessions are structured to build strength progressively while keeping you healthy and game-ready. You get stronger and more explosive without sacrificing the athleticism your game requires.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • No. Whether you're stepping into a weight room for the first time or you've been training for years, BTD builds a program around where you are right now. Every session is coached, so you'll always know exactly what you're doing and why.

  • Yes. The S&C program is built specifically for baseball and softball athletes. The training accounts for the rotational demands, arm health, and movement patterns unique to both sports.

  • We train athletes from youth level through high school and competitive travel ball. Programming is age-appropriate and scaled to the physical maturity and goals of each athlete.

  • A generic gym program makes you stronger. BTD's S&C program makes you a better baseball and softball athlete. Every exercise is selected because it translates directly to on-field performance, whether that's more bat speed, a stronger arm, or a faster first step. There's no wasted work.

  • Sessions are one hour. That's enough time to complete a full warm-up, work through the day's program, and cool down properly without cutting corners.

  • Yes, and it's one of the best investments you can make in your development. Many BTD athletes train across multiple programs. Talk to Alonso about building a combined schedule that develops your full game without overtraining.

  • Athletes typically notice physical changes within the first few weeks. On-field results, things like increased bat speed, arm strength, and explosiveness, tend to show up clearly after 4 to 6 weeks of consistent training. The off-season is when the biggest gains happen.
