swing analytics technology

know your swing

down to the degree.

Blast Motion captures what the naked eye can't see. Every metric your swing produces, measured, logged, and used to build a program that actually fixes what's holding you back.

The Technology

A SENSOR THAT SEES EVERYTHING YOUR SWING DOES.

Blast Motion is a swing sensor that attaches directly to the knob of your bat and captures biomechanical data in real time. Bat speed, attack angle, time to impact, on-plane efficiency, peak hand speed, and rotation are all recorded the moment you make contact. No guesswork. No approximations. Just precise data on exactly how your swing moves.

What the Data Reveals

THE NUMBERS BEHIND

EVERY SWING.

Bat speed tells you how much raw power you're generating. Attack angle determines your margin for error in the hitting zone. On-plane efficiency measures how long your barrel stays in the hitting plane, and elite hitters score high here. Time to impact reveals whether your swing is quick enough to handle elite velocity. BTD coaches use every one of these numbers to coach with precision instead of opinion.

HOW WE COACH WITH BLAST MOTION

DATA IN.

BETTER SWINGS OUT.

Blast Motion doesn't just tell you where you are. At BTD, it tells us exactly what to fix and in what order. Combined with HitTrax, it gives coaches a complete picture of both how your swing moves and what it produces at contact. That combination is what separates BTD's hitting development from facilities that rely on eyeballing mechanics alone.
